Pam Bondi Wants An Apology To Tesla Shareholders From Jasmine Crockett Because She Wanted Musk To Fall

Tesla Turmoil Escalates: Texas Congresswoman Under Fire for Anti-Musk Comments Amid Violence

Tensions are running high in the U.S. amid growing political and economic unrest, and one of the latest flashpoints involves Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Texas and tech billionaire Elon Musk. Crockett, a Democrat and vocal critic of Musk, is facing backlash following her controversial remarks celebrating the perceived decline of Tesla—a statement made as her own state grapples with violent incidents tied to the electric vehicle giant.

The controversy erupted after Rep. Crockett appeared on a YouTube livestream titled #TeslaTakedown, where she said, “On March 29, it’s my birthday. And all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.” While she later clarified that her comments were not intended to suggest physical harm, many felt her language was irresponsible, especially in light of recent violent acts against Tesla.

In the days following her statement, Tesla showrooms, charging stations, and vehicles became targets of vandalism and arson. Most alarmingly, three explosive devices were discovered in Austin, Texas, prompting further concern about escalating unrest.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity to demand an apology from Crockett. Bondi called her remarks “dangerous and reckless,” especially considering the violence that has occurred since. “She needs to unequivocally denounce the violence,” Bondi said. “She must apologize immediately—not only to Texans but to the country and the American shareholders of Tesla.”

Crockett’s criticism comes amid sweeping government changes, as Elon Musk chairs the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has enacted aggressive federal spending cuts. Thousands of job losses have fueled protests nationwide, with Musk and former President Donald Trump becoming focal points of public frustration.

Critics of Crockett accuse her of using her platform for personal gain, claiming her comments were designed to boost her social media presence rather than encourage constructive discourse. Meanwhile, Bondi herself has come under fire online, with some mocking her frequent television appearances and questioning her motivations.

As protests and political tensions intensify, the incident underscores how words spoken by public figures can ignite real-world consequences—especially when they intersect with corporate power, partisan divides, and public unrest.
