Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp lemon zest

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp paprika (optional)

1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

200g (7 oz) spaghetti or fettuccine

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

1 tbsp chopped parsley

Extra butter (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook the Chicken:
  4. Season chicken with salt, pepper, lemon zest, and paprika.
  5. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add chicken pieces and sear until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
