Three Young Sisters, Who Vanished After ‘Planned Visitation

In just two heartbreaking weeks, three families—living miles apart—were shattered by unthinkable acts of domestic violence and suspected murder-suicides, leaving authorities scrambling for answers and communities engulfed in sorrow.

One such tragedy unfolded in Chelan County, Washington. On the evening of May 30, 2025, a growing sense of dread consumed Whitney Decker when her three young daughters did not return from a scheduled visit with their father, Travis Decker. Despite repeated calls, there was no response. As hours passed, hope gave way to fear.

By June 2, those fears were confirmed in the worst possible way. The bodies of Olivia (5), Evelyn (8), and Paityn (9) Decker were found near Rock Island Campground, not far from Travis’ abandoned truck. The scene was devastating. Authorities disclosed that the children had been zip-tied and suffocated using plastic bags—a chilling and painful end. The suspected cause of death: asphyxiation.
